The Boom Booms

The Boom Booms are an Indie Soul band from Vancouver, BC who love and live for the road. They’ve busked across Europe, performed in the Brazilian Amazon and Rio’s famous ‘Casa Rosa’, toured in a Scamper RV the 12,000 km roundtrip from Vancouver to Panama and circumnavigated the United States twice in their yellow School Bus.

David Morin
http://www.davidmorinmusic.com/
With his self released debut album, Every Colour, out on Bombay Records, David Morin plays gigs around the world
accompanied by a live band. Yet the humble neo-soul singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist still chooses to
busk regularly on street corners in his hometown of Vancouver.
After all, that’s where this 32-year old, who is of Metis Native American descent, honed his craft––and his social message.
Like the man himself, David Morin’s music is pure, authentic and from the heart. Self-taught and passionately
committed to being a career artist, he’s blessed with the ability to turn strangers into fans.

David Beckingham
http://www.davidbeckingham.com/
David Beckingham spent the last 10 years touring, writing and recording with the Canadian Juno Award nominated trio, Hey Ocean. During this time his own catalogue of unreleased solo material piled up and in May, 2016 he released he solo debut, Just When The Light. The album is loaded with contrast between existential gratitude, and deep, personal unrest. It’s about light and shadow, and the human predisposition toward always yearning for something other than what you have.

Jack Garton and the Demon Squadron
https://jackgarton.com/demonsquadron/
The roots roller-coaster band Demon Squadron is the engine behind Jack Garton’s songs. Formed in 2013 and named after Garton’s grandfather’s special ops flight squadron in WWII, the band is a highly-trained crew of Vancouver’s most unique musical talent. From rockabilly to rocksteady, country to cajun, every show is roots music mayhem executed with classic showmanship and wry humour. While touring Western Canada, Washington State and Alaska, the Squadron has been honoured to serve on festival main stages, concert halls, theatres, clubs and cook-outs. It’s all in the line of duty for BC’s rambling servicemen and women as they continue to wage Garton’s campaigns of heavy honesty and devastating joy throughout the region.
