Squamish Annual Veteran’s Pow wow
November 11, 2016- 10:30 am - 10:30 pm
Annual Squamish Veteran’s 1 day Powwow 2016 at the Chief Joe Mathias Center- North Vancouver CJMC as indicated and shown on the map.
A Cenotaph Ceremony start time 10-10:30am. Near the Catholic Church in North Vancouver.
Prayer – honor song – roll call.
11 am- a moment of silence to honor past & present Veterans.
Lunch- we still need donations.
Pow wow starts 12:30-1 pm? We will play that by ear, due to Veterans ceremony earlier in the morning.
There will be two Grand Entries. 1 pm and 7 pm.

Female head dancer – Gloria Nahanee
First 3 drum groups will receive day pay. At least 4 per drum.
Tiny tots, Jr & Sr Princess, Squamish Veterans Jr & Sr Brave, Squamish Veterans Grandma and Grandpa specials to be determined.
We need volunteers the day of the event & food donations for the community feast. We will have a raffle, prizes to be drawn on Nov 11, 2015
We will have 6-8 2016 Royalty Categories Squamish Veteran’s Tiny tots, Jr & Sr Princess, Squamish Veterans Jr & Sr Brave, Squamish Veterans Grandma and Grandpa. We may consider 2015 Squamish Veteran’s Tiny Tot categories if we have enough interest.

We are not responsible for any form of loss, theft, vandalism, or travel assistance. No outside raffles. Craft tables pay Tony Discon $30.00 and please give a donation to our pow wow for our raffle. Vendors are allowed the space of one table. No additional space is allowed to be fair to all the vendors. For the meals- bring your own plates and eating supplies- we are helping Mother Earth when we do this.
