BikeOUT! A Bicycle Camp for Girls, Trans, and Queer Youth
July 18, 2016- 10:00 am - July 22, 2016- 4:00 pm
—What is BikeOUT?—
BikeOUT is a five-day summer bicycle camp designed to empower girls, trans*, and queer-identified youth to fix their own bicycles, ride city streets with confidence, and engage creatively with Vancouver’s vibrant bicycle cultures and communities.
From fixing flats, to group rides, to bicycle polo, to bicycle arts (and much more!) BikeOUT seeks to make cycling accessible, safe, creative, and most importantly, fun!
BikeOUT is facilitated entirely by experienced bicycle mechanics instructors, artists, and athletes who are women, trans, and/or queer-identified.
***No mechanical experience necessary***
