For those of you who have deja vu, we ran a short supply drive last month, and it went really well, but there still much more work to be done. So the Nettle’s Guild and the Council are teaming up to do another one!
Have you heard about Ulluilsc (pronounced oo-LOOSH), otherwise known as the Voice for the Voiceless Camp up in St’át’imc (“STAT-lee-um”) territory near Lillooet? It’s a wonderful place being held down by beautiful folks who are doing what it takes to stop Logging in Xwisten (“n-HOY-shten”) traditional territories.
Ulluilsc has been going on since March 16, 2015, and in that time they’ve managed to build a cabin, a root cellar, start a garden, host a bunch of different folks, and most importantly, hold off that logging!
