Teaching to Transgression Poetry Zine Workshop

February 23, 2017- 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

The second in our two-part workshop series with Jordan Martin.

Participants will be instructed in a writing workshop implementing exercises inspired by various transgressive feminist teachers. The culminating poems will be compiled into a community zine to decorate and share after the workshop.

Jordan Martin is an uprooted Brooklyn based multidisciplinary artist and multi-instrumentalist. Her musical project Daphne often presents as interdisciplinary performance (a combination of poetry, theatre, dance, visuals, and music). She has two forthcoming books of poetry Portrait As An Αέρας Δύναμη Ένας (Air Force One), a poetry and coloring book, and S.O.S. : Some Oscillations Suck!, a book and musical EP of poetic rock criticism with translations in morse code. More information about her projects can be found here. http://cargocollective.com/jordanamadimartin
