REAL TALK: We Stand with Standing Rock

For this edition of Real Talk, we’d like to turn our attention towards the many issues surrounding the Dakota Access Pipeline protests at Standing Rock, where Water Protectors have been violently attacked, arrested, and mistreated while in custody – for standing in peaceful, prayerful protest.

We’d like to take this opportunity to show our solidarity with an open forum for discussion. All are welcome, invite your friends! Please bring an open heart and an open mind.

There is no cover charge. Donations are appreciated but not required to attend! All cash donations will go to support West Coast Women Warriors Media Cooperative, who are on the front lines as the media team for Red Warrior Camp. They are currently raising funds for a winter-ready media centre, including a yurt, wood stove, firewood, satellite communications and media gear.
