Rally Against Racism and Bigotry

In the light of growing incidents of racist flyers being distributed in Abbotsford, Radical Desi in partnership with Coalition Against Bigotry is going to hold a rally against racism in the parking lot of the heritage Sikh temple. On January 15 that happens to be the birthday of Martin Luther King, the supporters of white supremacist group KKK distributed flyers specifically targeting him in the community. We find this extremely offensive and need to raise our voice together against growing tide of bigotry due to divisive politics of populist leaders like Trump in North America. Since the Abbotsford Heritage Sikh temple is a space that was created by our elders to fight back against racism and occupation more than a century ago, we urge everyone to gather there to send a strong message to the hate groups which are trying to divide us once again.
